Missenden Abbey
Missenden Abbey, a former medieval 12th Century Abbey is situated in the village of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. The Abbey is a conference, wedding and events venue as well as having a long tradition of hosting art, craft, textile and general interest courses for adults.
The learning facilities include art studios and a number of meeting rooms that vary in size. All lecture rooms have integrated hearing loops and all ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible.
All learners are offered tea or coffee on arrival and there will be a break each morning for tea, coffee and biscuits and each afternoon for tea, coffee and cake. A three course lunch is provided for everyone, where a vegetarian alternative is also offered (specialist dietary requirements can be catered for but, please inform us on booking).
For those choosing the residential option, a set 3 course dinner is also provided along with bed and a buffet breakfast for the night(s) of your course. Accommodation is mainly in double bedrooms with 4'6" beds, all featuring an en-suite shower room, flat screen television, hair dryer, radio, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and complimentary Wi-Fi as standard.
The bar is open from 6.00pm -11.00pm and any alcohol consumed on the premises must have been purchased from the Abbey or a corkage charge will apply. Please note that Missenden Abbey is a non-smoking facility throughout.

Parking
There is ample free parking on site. The Car Parl is ANPR controlled so please remember to register your car at reception on arrival. There is limited accessible parking for Blue Badge holders only

Missenden Abbey is situated 30 miles north-west of London on the A413, with easy rail and motorway links and the M40 and the M25 only twenty minutes away. Missenden Abbey is only a seven minute walk from Great Missenden railway station, with regular high speed connections to London Marylebone on the Chiltern Line, or via Amersham on the Metropolitan line.
