COURSE TIMINGS: refer to individual course details for timings.

COURSE FEES: are stated in the individual course details. This fee does not include materials or use of specialist tools unless stated. Where there will be an amount payable to the tutor for materials or use of tools etc, this is stated in the course details. Course fees vary according to class size, models, specialist equipment etc.

*Please note, these relate to courses held at Missenden Abbey and CIM Business Centre, Cookham. For courses held at other venues, lunches are not included.

COURSE REQUIREMENT LISTS: please read the course details carefully for details of any items you need to bring with you.

PAYMENT: we accept either payment in full at the time of booking or, on a number of courses, you can pay a deposit, followed by payment of the course balance no later than six (6) weeks before the start of the course. Please note that no course place can be confirmed until your booking form and full payment are received. If you choose to pay by deposit, the course place is confirmed when the deposit has been received; however it is the student’s responsibility to pay the course balance when it is due and failure to do so may result in the course place being cancelled.

GIFT VOUCHERS: you may redeem your gift voucher towards the course(s) you would like to attend (subject to availability) by entering the unique voucher number at checkout. Any outstanding balance can also be paid at checkout. If the value of the voucher is more than the course fee, the balance will be adjusted accordingly for you to redeem at a later date.

AGE: participants must be over 18.

CANCELLATION BY MISSENDEN SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS: Missenden School of Creative Arts reserves the right to cancel or amend courses or change tutors. All courses are reviewed six (6) weeks prior to the course start date and cancellations made where insufficient numbers have enrolled. If a course is cancelled by us, you may receive a full refund or you may transfer your booking to an alternative published course, providing there is a place available on that course. If the course fee for the alternative course is more expensive than the original course you must pay any additional course fee when making the request to transfer; if less, you will be refunded the difference. You are advised to check the viability of your course before purchasing materials or before booking travel. Missenden School of Creative Arts cannot be held liable for any expenses incurred.

CANCELLATION BY STUDENT: any cancellation by students must be in writing by post or email. You will be entitled to a full refund if you cancel your booking within 14 days of receipt of your booking confirmation by us, provided this is more than six (6) weeks before the course start date. Outside of this 14 day cooling off period, provided you cancel your booking no later than six (6) weeks prior to the course start date, Missenden School of Creative Arts will refund all sums paid by you in respect of the booking save for a cancellation administration fee of £30. No refunds can be given to any bookings cancelled within six (6) weeks of the course start date, or for failure to attend all or any part of the course for any reason whatsoever. Missenden School of Creative Arts recommends you take out your own cancellation insurance.

TRANSFERS: Outside of the 14 day cooling off period, you may request a course transfer provided this is done more than six (6) weeks before the course start date. Please note that if you request a transfer within six (6) weeks of the course start, you may only transfer 70% of the non-residential course price. For any transfer a £30 administration fee (inclusive of VAT) will be charged.

ACCESSIBILITY: not all teaching rooms are suitable for those with mobility issues and whilst Missenden School of Creative Arts will endeavour to make adjustments within the constraints of the building, we can only do this if access needs are fully stated on booking.

PUBLICITY: as participants in Missenden School of Creative Arts courses, you and/or your work may be photographed, filmed and/or sound recorded for publicity purposes and your picture may appear in print or on line. If you do not wish this to happen please let us know in writing when you book.

PLEASE NOTE: your course equipment and any possessions are brought on site at your own risk and all vehicles are parked at your own risk. No smoking is allowed and no dogs or other animals are permitted on site.

To the best of our knowledge, all information given on this website is correct as at August 2024. However, Missenden School of Creative Arts reserves the right to correct or amend any aspect of the course programme in the event of circumstances where such changes are deemed to be necessary.
