A course for all those interested in forming creative and textural 3 dimensional structures using decorative paper.
Description
During the course we will decorate paper with paint and inks, and manipulate by cutting and tearing, folding and layering to explore the potential of shape and dimensionality.
Please bring with you
Acrylics,
Inks,
Variety of brushes,
Water pot and palette,
Oil pastels or Caron d’Ache crayons,
Felt tip pens if you have them,
Masking tape,
Paper scissors,
Craft knife,
Steel ruler and cutting mat,
PVA glue plus brush to apply,
Roll kitchen paper,
Disposable gloves and apron.

Janet Edmonds
Janet Edmonds is a freelance textile artist, author of several books and experienced tutor, exhibiting and delivering courses to adults nationally and internationally. She has taught City & Guilds courses for 25 years at various centres including Missenden Abbey and also runs advanced workshops. She was awarded the Medal for Excellence and the Broderers Prize in 2016. She is a member of the Chiltern Embroidery and Textile Group, Textile Study Group and Buckinghamshire Craft Guild.
