Guided by Jonathan, you'll capture the unique character of a chimpanzee face on black paper and a capuchin monkey on grey board. Suitable for all levels, this relaxed and supportive course provides expert instruction and is perfect for developing your artistic skills
Description
This is a two day course that will show you how to draw animal portraits with coloured pencil on black paper and grey board (supplied by your tutor). Using demonstrations and working from photographs supplied by the tutor, you will be shown how each technique can be achieved. The course will be run in a friendly and relaxed manner and is an ideal way of moving on to other subjects where coloured pencil can be used.
Aimed at students of all abilities, especially beginners and students with some knowledge.
Please bring with you
- One medium size pack of artists quality coloured pencils (Derwent, Faber Castel, Caran Dache, Lyra or WH Smith). As many different colours as possible. If you have watercolour pencils then these can also be used dry.
- Pencil sharpener,
- 2B & 4B (or softer) pencil,
- eraser

The tutor will supply one sheet of black paper and one of grey board at a cost of £3 per person.
