Art Journalling - Mini Books
Tutor: Paula WatkinsCourse Code: 3422-08

Summary

Art Journalling is a huge subject and there are so many styles and techniques to be learned. It is really enjoyable to spend each Summer School exploring a series of different themes and some of the special techniques associated with these.

Description

In 2022 we will be making Mini Books. We will be looking at how exploring techniques in miniature can result in some exquisite pieces of work. We will be using a mixed media approach in our work, involving card, paper and fabric along with some unusual and vintage materials. We will be printing, drawing, embellishing with stitch and using collage to bring the pieces together. These tiny pieces of art are a delightful way to Art Journal in a unique and delightful way.
