Two days of colour! Jill will guide students on how to use the wonderful colours found in coloured pencils to depict the glorious summer fruits and vegetables. There will be lots of individual tuition and group demonstrations.
This workshop will offer lots of tips on how to use coloured pencils, a medium that is very popular and enjoyable. Pencils are fun to use and used correctly can produce a stunning piece of artwork. Jill will show you how to blend with different substances, which colours are best to use to create depth of colour, how to create light, and offer tips on creating composition.

Coloured pencils ( please bring a good range, Caran d’Ache, Faber Castell, Prismacolour, Derwent are all good

Jill is an award winning published botanical artist. She is a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and regularly exhibits at their annual exhibition in London. She tutors from her studio at home and demonstrates her work for art groups around the country. She has held art holidays in Tuscany, Ireland and locations in England. More recently, Jill has had two books published: Painting Flowers and Drawing Flowers.
