Summary

This course will enable you to learn the techniques of Chinese painting and composition and you will learn how to paint trees, rocks, mountains, as well as to manage space, such as waterfalls, streams and mist.

Description

This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in Chinese Landscape painting and willing to learn new techniques.  The course will enable you to learn the techniques of painting trees, rocks and compositions, understanding the way to arrange black and white (Yin and Yang), which is the the central idea of Taoist Philosophy.   You will paint at least two different types of  view, one will be the ink work and the other one will be using the method of ' the Blue and Green Landscape'.

Please bring with you

Chinese brush, ink and colour
Semi-sized paper if you have some
Felt or old blanket (about 1 square metre)
2 or 3 white dishes
Hair dryer
