Summary

This is a course that will show you how to paint winter landscapes with watercolour and white paint. Using photos supplied by the tutor you will be shown how to paint winter trees, skies and buildings in a winter landscape and how to use white paint for highlights and snow. Other techniques will include colour mixing from a limited palette, flat washes and working on tinted paper.

Description

This is an ideal course to learn how to paint and sketch with watercolour and how to use white paint such as Gouache, Chinese White and ink. Each exercise will be demonstrated by the tutor step by step and the course will be run in a friendly, non pressured environment where the tutor will be on hand to encourage and inspire. Ideal for beginners and people with some knowledge of the medium. This course is an ideal stepping stone to other sketching courses run by Missenden School of Creative Arts where you could develop your sketching skills futher.
